I read the price on this as 1300, and felt pretty big buyers remorse about the Rabbit. Don’t get me wrong Veronica means a lot to me, but if I could pick up a Del Sol this clean for that price I wouldn’t hesitate.

Also plans continue for a TDI swap in the Rabbit. Anyone have a good resource for VW stuff, Any Midwest forums I should hop on?

Honestly i think no matter what, you’ll always have buyers remorse. always something “better”, “nicer” pops up after you’ve bought what you already have..

That’s why you have to stay off CL. But that’s so haaaaard. Lol

I will say tho our  three current cars are the ones I’ve had the least buyers remorse about.

I found a nice car i really want, it’s dirt cheap, probably has everything wrong with it, but ticks all the boxes for what i’d love to have next... I got really hyped for a day and then sat down, looked at what i have, and how i know what i have, what needs fixing for that to pass inspection and be good for another 2 years, and... the other car is likely to be a money pit because it’s up to decent condition/drivable/reliable... so i dropped that thought...

Yes it’s really way to imagine that it’s better than it really is. Who knows maybe this Del Sol is actually a POS

If it is in Hibbing, MN you can almost guarantee that the floor boards have rusted out already. Especially with 139 K on the odo.
